Welcome to Jessica Christine Photography!
Honestly I have no clue what I am doing trying to start a blog but thought hey why not? Maybe someone would like to read how I got started and what I go through to get to my goal. But….. let's start with the basic welcome intro post, you never know if you know me or not. So here goes nothing..
My name is Jessica, and I am a married mother of 2 currently living in ETX. I was born and raised in the big apple. Just kidding.. Kinda I was born in NY but not the big apple, a tiny little town in Western New York. I know I know how on earth did I go from way north to way south? Basically I met a boy we fell in love had some kids and I never went back but to visit of course. Fast-forward from the big 2012 move, you can now find me in another small ETX town as a paraprofessional by day badass photographer at night.. Week day! That probably sounds cooler in my head then to anyone else.
How did I get into photography, you may ask?.. Or maybe you didn’t, but I am going to tell you anyway. It all started with a high school obsession with hay fields and the perfect selfie.(that I never mastered, btw!) I really got into photography in TX where I started a little journey.. And I faded out and got discourage and way too much in my head. Fast-forward to the second time around, where my passion is OVER POWERING the thoughts that make me doubt myself have all nut vanished. And that’s BIG for me, I’m always comparing myself and my work to others, of course I tend to still, but I don’t let it stop me like it did before. My confidence in my talent has passed my doubt.
I don’t just like photography, I LOVE photography! I love to see clients faces when they see an image I have taken, I love to hear when they are OBSESSED with their gallery. I can’t help but grin, and MOST of all I LOVE when they complement themselves in how they look in their photos! I want people to love how they look and love how the image makes them feel. We tend to get lost in all the social media trends that we lose time that we never get back. I want to give people a perfect moment frozen in time to hold onto forever! To cherish for years and years to come.
